Clarion’s CMS1 is like a source unit and a hub, all rolled into one “black box”. The essentials including AM/FM/ Weather Band radio are built in, and with a wide variety of connections including USB and iPod you can easily create a system that’s customized to your exact needs.
Direct iPod Interface and Control
When you set sail for your next cruise, you’ll probably want to keep enjoying your favorite tunes. With your iPod connected to CMS1’s rear iPod input (Optional CCUIPOD1 required), you get control of most of your iPod’s functions with audio heard through your on-board speaker system. With CMS1, your musical enjoyment is seamless.
USB for MP3/WMA Playback
The USB slot on the black box unit accommodates playback of MP3 files you’ve ripped from CDs and stored on a USB Memory or portable USB MP3/WMA player. (Sold separately.)
Sirius SSP Ready
You can hook-up a Sirius Satellite Radio receiver to the exclusive Sirius interface on the back of the unit. Or, if you have a portable Sat Radio, you can listen to it through the AUX input.
